A QUALIDADE DA EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL TÉCNICA NO BRASIL A PARTIR DA LDB 9.394/96: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA DOS ÚLTIMOS 10 ANOS

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate how the quality of Technical Vocational Education was established in Brazil from the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education (LDB) nº 9394/96, through a Systematic Review (RS) of the scientific production of the last 10 years. Twenty-four articles from the CAPES Periodicals Portal were analyzed. The results showed the participation of several actors from different segments in the process of developing the quality of technical professional education and with different interests. The principles of professional education proved to be diverse and overlapping, however, work as an educational principle, and work for the labor market stood out. Regarding the attributes, it was not possible to find in the research’s attributes indicated for Technical Professional Education. As for the potential of technical professional education, most of them are aimed at training for the job market and a tiny portion for polytechnic training. As for the limitations of Vocational Education, these were directed to the lack of Public Policies aimed at different curricula of Vocational Education and High School, the structural duality between both and social inequality. Regarding the indicator, the only one found in the research was IDEB. It is concluded that the quality of technical professional education was instituted through training totally focused on the qualification of labor to meet the labor market, thus excluding the subject from receiving an emancipatory training.
