Abstract

This article aims to analyze the working time of teachers of professional and technological education, highlighting those not counted in the formal records, addressing a brief analysis about working times, their official records and the difficulty of demarcation of boundaries between working and non-work times. A qualitative approach was used through a case study of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso – IFMT/Campus Cuiabá Cel. Octayde Jorge da Silva, through electronic questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with teachers of the institution. It was verified the existence of working times are not counted in their journeys, and are often intertwined with other temporalities.
